Hats off to designer Alexandros Stasinopoulos who designed the ingenious watch in the first place! He calls it Ora,
a fancy watch that tells time in the most extraordinary way. Gone are
those minute and second dials and they are replaced by three different
tapes. Yes, those tapes (ingeniously designed to look like measuring
tapes) you saw in the above screenshots are supposed to tell time. :)
Too bad, it is just too bad that Ora is just a conceptual design. Else it would have made an excellent gadget gift for a DIY/Do It Yourself freak in the likes of Phua Chu Kang. ;)
